Después que Genaro García Luna mandara una carta desde prisión, en la que acusa al presidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador de tener nexos con el narcotráfico, el investigador de la Universidad de Columbia, Edgardo Buscaglia, señala que en México no hay un sistema que permita corroborar los dichos de que fuera secretario de Seguridad Pública en el sexenio de Felipe Calderón.
