The start of a new NHL season means new goalie masks.

The NHL on Wednesday released images of the masks goaltenders, including the Nashville Predators' Juuse Saros and Winnipeg Jets' Connor Hellebuyck, will be wearing during the 2024-25 season.

Saros' mask, by NHL mask artist DaveArt, features a close-up on the Predators' logo, while Hellebuyck's gear by artist EyeCandyAir features jets, snowflakes and fish.

Among the mask reveals was the gear Karel Vejmelka will wear during the Utah Hockey Club's inaugural season. The top of the mask by DaveArt features the diagonal word "Utah" and matches the club's jerseys.

Like Saros' mask, Seattle Kraken goaltender Joey Daccord's gear by ShiftyPaint features the team's eponymous sea creature.

The Los Angeles Kings' Darcy Kuemper's mask by DaveArt features a nod to the team's 1990s logo, which will also be featured on the team's retro-inspired uniforms next season.

The mask of Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Ivan Fedotov by DaveArt appears to feature a Phoenix, with the city's skyline at the chin.

Detroit Red Wings netminder Cam Talbot's mask by DaveArt features the team's current logo and a nod to the franchise's first logo, a red "D."

The Washington Capitals' Logan Thompson will don a mask featuring an eagle and the Capitol Building by FrieDesigns, while the gear of Toronto Maple Leafs' Joseph Woll by DaveArt features a tooth-lined jaw opened around the face cage.

All these masks and more will make their regular-season debut when the puck drops on Oct. 4 to start the 2024-25 NHL season.
