Bryce James is ranked as a 4-star prospect and No. 100 overall on the latest On3 list of the top high school class of 2025 men's basketball prospects.

James, the second-oldest son of Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James and younger brother of Lakers guard Bronny James, plays for Sierra Canyon in Chatsworth, California. The 6'4", 160-pound shooting guard is ranked 21st at his position and eighth in the state.

James was listed at No. 135 per On3's most recent rankings, so he's made a great rise as he enters his senior season.

Elsewhere, James is listed as a 4-star prospect on ESPN and a 3-star prospect on Rivals and the 247Sports Composite list. Rivals notably lists James at No. 150 overall.

Per On3, James holds offers from Ohio State and Duquesne. The latter school is coached by Dru Joyce III, who played high school ball with LeBron James at St. Vincent-St. Mary in Akron, Ohio. The two remain close friends.
