1. Multiple Fonts Have the Same XUID

   These three fonts have the same XUID. They may not print correctly.
   Not only these, but XUIDs should be removed from all fonts released through Adobe Fonts.

3. Separate "font suggestions" from "no results found" in search results

   Adobe Fonts recently updated the way search results work. If there are no results for your query, recommended fonts are displayed instead. There is a disclaimer message at the top right, but it is very easy to get confused and think the desired font is somehow further down in the results. Please return the previous "no fonts found" messaging to the top of the search results, and place the font suggestions in a separate section below.

   Search has also worsened in quality recently, making search results more difficult to parse. When searching "Caslon", three rows of suggestions appear for unrelated fonts. In order to find Adobe Font's offerings for Caslon, you need to search a specific query such as "King's Caslon" or "Adobe Caslon". Even then, only that one version of the font appears. Currently, the only way I've found to review all the different types of Caslon offered is to Google "Caslon" + "Adobe Fonts". As a result, I no longer use the search feature on Adobe Fonts, and instead opt for using Google. The list on Google lacks the visual component that Adobe has, meaning it isn't a perfect solution.

   I do not mind being suggested fonts that are visually similar to what I'm looking for, but often I'm looking for something very specific, and just want to know if Adobe Fonts has it, or if I'll need to source it elsewhere. I think if the font suggestions were separated below the actual search results, it would help. At the same time, please ensure that partial queries (such as "caslon" or "garamond") pull up font results that include those queries in the title. Currently, the way the results display make it seem like Adobe's search engine doesn't understand what you're looking for. Thank you for your consideration.

5. Bug with visual search feature

   Hello, the visual search feature appears to be broken on adobe fonts. I have used the feature many times in the past with decent results so I believe it is a new bug.

   I have attached some tests to show what is happening. When I upload images it is not able to read the text correctly as it has in the past. The default text is gibberish.

   Even after correcting the text, you can see the feature either returned ornaments or fonts that were not at all similar to the original.

   The only one that was read correctly was a screenshot from this feedback page, but even so, the search was not able to identify it even though it is Adobe's main typeface.

   In the end I was able to find the original font I was looking for (the purple script example) which is Caflisch Script. This font is available on Adobe Fonts so in theory the visual search, working properly, should have been able to identify it.

6. Out of date / misleading explanation for why web fonts must be loaded from use.typekit.net

   Good day, I'm a lead developer at Penn State Outreach Marketing, and I have a proposal for helping improve certain web vitals metrics for users of Adobe fonts. We have found that the use of Adobe fonts is presently a bottleneck for our continued LCP/CLS tuning efforts.

   Adobe's documentation at https://helpx.adobe.com/fonts/using/use-typekit-net.html claims that...

   "The CDN allows your fonts to be cached at many locations around the world, to ensure that they can be delivered to your website visitors as quickly as possible."

   However this isn't always true -- at least not nowadays...

   The use of using an Adobe hosted CSS file in order to load @font-face information will add an additional HTTP roundtrip to the critical rendering path. In order for first paint to occur, unless a font is set to font-display: swap, the user agent must...

   1. Request and parse the DOM response

   2. Request, download, parse, and evaluate the CSS response from https://use.typekit.net/*/*.css

   3. Request, download, and apply the font assets

   For users that are literally optimizing for milliseconds in order to meet Google's Web Vitals thresholds, that extra round-trip is sometimes a deal-breaker.

   Wouldn't a better approach be to eliminate step #2 and allow end-users to embed the @font-faces directly in their DOM responses? That would completely remove font loading from the critical rendering path for users that are using font-display: swap, and greatly reduce the layout shifting impact of users who opt to use font-display: swap.

   HTTP roundtrips on mobile data plans can easily "cost" 600 milliseconds. By offering users the ability to embed the @font-faces directly in the DOM response, still keeping the fonts hosted by Adobe, this seems to be a best of both worlds compromise. The fonts wouldn't need to be "self hosted" by end-users, and end-users wouldn't need to regress on performance in order to use Adobe fonts.

   What would be needed from Adobe? Font binaries hosted on Adobe's servers that have backwards-compatibility guarantees -- meaning that the path to the font would not change.

   What would be needed from End Users? Nothing! It could be an opt-in feature!

9. Better categorization

   Your current categorization "system" – Hallowe'en (?!), Fun, Futuristic, etc. – appeals to amateurs and is near useless to professional typesetters.

   I want to be able to see if a font has small caps, is suitable for body copy in books or is better for headlines and display, etc. It would also be great to be able to view by date designed and other typographic fine-tuning options.

   Adobe has been in the font business for many decades. I would think that you could offer far better tools to find your font offerings.

10. your font search results page is a design mess. You have no idea where to look for the results youre searching. Too cluttered.

    The results page is a mess. It's as if you're trying to show what a great designer you are. Just the information on the fonts is needed. Not examples in a myriad of colours across a myriad of styles.

    After installing the font named Nanum Pen, it is very hard to find it in any Adobe app because its name is written in Korean by default, not in English. Could you please change it to English?

13. I try to covert an arabic document in word formate however , it was not covert due to lack of arbaic font . could you add this to acrobat

    I have an arabic letter to convert to Word format which is not able to convert due to the arabic font not support for the acrobats pro. I would like to request for adding this facility to fulfill the customer request as subscriber.

14. Can we fix the issue with Graphite font?

    Our problem is that we purchased Graphite font suite and have found that it sits higher on a text line than other fonts. Is there any way to show the font on the line correctly as we are finding that it wont sit in a text box correctly, and interferes with text lines above?
    We run an Architectural practice and would like to be able to use Graphite with our CAD package (ArchiCAD).
    I have attached a screen shot showing what the font does compared to a 'standard' font such as Helvetica.
    Hoping that someone can assist / solve our issues.

15. Version Control in Adobe fonts

    The ability to manage the different versions of the fonts in a specific admin console, for company accounts, to define which version must be used by the end users in the company and, if needed, force the font update in all the end user machines.
    This is requested because when fonts are updated and the changes are related with kerning or characters, inside a company with several layout designers, can lead to different results because different users can have different versions of a font.
    Related with this request, users should be informed when a font is updated in Adobe Fonts

18. Allow users to hide fonts that they don't want in the dropdown menu.

    Users should be able to 'hide' fonts that they don't want to see in the drop down menu. System fonts like 'Noto Sans' essentially divide the whole menu with a large number of fonts that can't be deleted from the system. Having the ability to hide these fonts is the solution that many people have been asking for, but for some reason both adobe and apple have ignored the problem.
