Dark Parts of the Universe is a genre-bending mystery/thriller that explores the intersections of white supremacy and the repercussions of technology within a small town in Missouri. Can this page-turner thriller break into the Printz ranks?

I’m a Samuel Miller fan and can’t wait to tackle this. I do find it more difficult to find the posts for this year since there’s not a 2025 folder and everything’s mixed together.
So I've tried to listen to this book twice now and given up both times. I'm not sure why but it just has not grabbed my attention. Maybe its the audio format - although I like the narrator.

I just cleaned this up! I realized the same thing at the end of July.

"I excited for this book based off the premise. However, it was Michael Crouch's narration that kept me engaged until the end. If he had not been narrating, I most likely would have given up. I understand that subplots can add depth to a story, but I felt there were a few too many in this case. Unfortunately, the most important ones didn't receive the attention and development they deserved.
