“My dearest friend Abigail, These probably could be the last words I write to you and I may not live long enough to see your response but I truly have lived long enough to live forever in the hearts of my friends. I thought a lot about what I should write to you. I thought of giving you blessings and wishes for things of great value to happen to you in future; I thought of appreciating you for being the way you are; I thought to give sweet and lovely compliments for everything about you; I thought to write something in praise of your poems and prose; and I thought of extending my gratitude for being one of the very few sincerest friends I have ever had. But that is what all friends do and they only qualify to remain as a part of the bunch of our loosely connected memories and that's not what I can choose to be, I cannot choose to be lost somewhere in your memories. So I thought of something through which I hope you will remember me for a very long time. I decided to share some part of my story, of what led me here, the part we both have had in common. A past, which changed us and our perception of the world. A past, which shaped our future into an unknown yet exciting opportunity to revisit the lost thoughts and to break free from the libido of our lost dreams. A past, which questioned our whole past. My dear, when the moment of my past struck me, in its highest demonised form, I felt dead, like a dead-man walking in flesh without a soul, who had no reason to live any more. I no longer saw any meaning of life but then I saw no reason to die as well. I travelled to far away lands, running away from friends, family and everyone else and I confined myself to my thoughts, to my feelings and to myself. Hours, days, weeks and months passed and I waited for a moment of magic to happen, a turn of destiny, but nothing happened, nothing ever happens. I waited and I counted each moment of it, thinking about every moment of my life, the good and the bad ones. I then saw how powerful yet weak, bright yet dark, beautiful yet ugly, joyous yet grievous; is a one single moment. One moment makes the difference. Just a one moment. Such appears to be the extreme and undisputed power of a single moment. We live in a world of appearance, Abigail, where the reality lies beyond the appearances, and this is also only what appears to be such powerful when in actuality it is not. I realised that the power of the moment is not in the moment itself. The power, actually, is in us. Every single one of us has the power to make and shape our own moments. It is us who by feeling joyful, celebrate for a moment of success; and it is also us who by feeling saddened, cry and mourn over our losses. I, with all my heart and mind, now embrace this power which lies within us. I wish life offers you more time to make use of this power. Remember, we are our own griefs, my dear, we are our own happinesses and we are our own remedies.

Take care!

Love,
Francis.

“If today is not your day,
then be happy
for this day shall never return.
And if today is your day,
then be happy now
for this day shall never return.”

Nataša Pantović
“We train ourselves all through our life to waste energy following our inner narratives. We are often unconsciously driven by our fears, worries and fantasies. Enter the space of Awareness of the present moment with no emotional filters, no regrets nor hopes, no daydreaming and no nightmares.”
Natasa Pantovic Nuit, Mindful Being

Eckhart Tolle
“There *are* no problems. Only situations - to be dealt with now, or to be left alone and accepted as part of the 'isness' of the present moment until they change or can be dealt with.”
Eckhart Tolle, Power Of Now - Guide To Spiritual Enlightenment

Amit Ray
“Time to time you need to stop the thinking machine and get in touch with the eternity - the state of the no-mind - the state of the pure being.”

Robert Adams
“You're born again, now, and all is glory and joy. This is what it means to be born again, to realize that you exist now, in this moment. (p. 242)”
Robert Adams, Silence of the Heart: Dialogues with Robert Adams

Eckhart Tolle
“To be identified with your mind is to be trapped in time. The compulsion arises because the past gives you an identity and the future holds the promise of salvation, of fulfillment in whatever form. Both are illusions. Life is Now.”
Eckhart Tolle, Power Of Now - Guide To Spiritual Enlightenment

Eckhart Tolle
“What you refer to as your 'life' should more accurately be called your 'life situation'. Your life situation exists in time. Your life is now. Your life situation is mind stuff. Your life is real.”
Eckhart Tolle, Power Of Now - Guide To Spiritual Enlightenment

Eckhart Tolle
“If you cannot be at ease with yourself when you are alone, you will seek a relationship to cover up your unease. It will then reappear in some other form within the relationship, and you will probably hold your partner responsible for it.

In the state of enlightenment, you *are* yourself. There is no "self" that you need to protect, defend, or feed anymore. When you are enlightened, there is one relationship you no longer have: the relationship with yourself.”
Eckhart Tolle, Power Of Now - Guide To Spiritual Enlightenment

Neale Donald Walsch
“There is no time. All things exist simultaneously. All events occur at once.

This Book is being written, and as it's being written it's already written; it already exists. In fact, that's where you're getting all this information - from the book that already exists. You're merely bringing it into form.

This is what is meant by: "Even before you ask, I will have answered."

[...]

Time is experienced as a movement, a flow, rather than a constant. It is you who are moving, not time. Time has no movement. There is only One Moment.

[...]

It is not time which "passes", but objects which pass through, and move around in, a static field which you call space. "Time" is simply your way of counting movments!

Scientists deeply understand this connection and therefore speak in terms of the "Space-Time Continuum.”
Neale Donald Walsch

Eckhart Tolle
“It is as it is. Whatever the present moment contains, accept it as if you had chosen it. Always work with it, not against it. Make it your friend and ally, not your enemy.”
Eckhart Tolle, Power Of Now - Guide To Spiritual Enlightenment

Eckhart Tolle
“Fear is divorced from any concrete and true immediate danger. It is always of something that *might* happen, not of something that is happening now. *You* are in the here and now, while your mind is in the future. This creates an anxiety gap. You cannot cope with something that is only a mind projection.”
Eckhart Tolle, Power Of Now - Guide To Spiritual Enlightenment

Eckhart Tolle
“Pleasure is always derived from something outside you, whereas joy arises from within. Even when the sky is heavily overcast, the sun hasn't disappeared. It's still there on the other side of the clouds.”
Eckhart Tolle, Power Of Now - Guide To Spiritual Enlightenment

Eckhart Tolle
“The only thing that is ultimately real about your journey is the step that you're taking this moment.”
Eckhart Tolle, Power Of Now - Guide To Spiritual Enlightenment

Eckhart Tolle
“Satisfaction through gratification will always be short-lived, therefore it will always be projected again.

You see time as the means to salvation, whereas in truth it is the greatest obstacle to salvation. You "get" there by realizing you *are* there already.”
Eckhart Tolle, Power Of Now - Guide To Spiritual Enlightenment

Eckhart Tolle
“Stress is caused by being "here" but wanting to be "there", or being in the present moment but wanting to be in the future. You can move fast, work fast, or run without projecting yourself into the future and without resisting the present. As you move, do it totally, enjoying the flow of energy at that moment. Or when you do nothing and the mind says "you should be working. You are wasting time" - observe the mind. Smile at it!”
Eckhart Tolle, Power Of Now - Guide To Spiritual Enlightenment

Eckhart Tolle
“With every kind of waiting, you unconsciously create inner conflict between where you don't want to be (now) and where you want to be (the projected future). Give up waiting as a state of mind. When you catch yourself slipping into waiting, snap out of it. Come into the present moment. Just be, and enjoy being. If you are present, there is never any need for you to wait for anything.”
Eckhart Tolle, Power Of Now - Guide To Spiritual Enlightenment

Eckhart Tolle
“To complain is always nonacceptance to what *is*.”
Eckhart Tolle, Power Of Now - Guide To Spiritual Enlightenment

Eckhart Tolle
“Judgment is either to confuse someone's unconscious behaviour with who they are or to project your own unconsciousness onto another person and mistake *that* for who they are.

If you are alert and present, you can point out behaviour without ego involvement (making the other person wrong).”
Eckhart Tolle, Power Of Now - Guide To Spiritual Enlightenment

Eckhart Tolle
“Forgiveness is to offer no resistance to life.”
Eckhart Tolle, Power Of Now - Guide To Spiritual Enlightenment

Eckhart Tolle
“Can anxious thought add a single day to your life?”
Eckhart Tolle, Power Of Now - Guide To Spiritual Enlightenment

“Time is a mind trap. Those who don't get it will squander their entire life living in the past or future, instead of now. Now is the only time, one really has.”
Krishna Saagar Rao

“Stop acting as if life is a rehearsal. Live each day as if it's your last. The past is done. The future yet to be made. Be present and live your best life NOW.”

Dennis Adonis III
“A man must wage war on himself to defeat his weaknesses and conquer his strengths”
Dennis Adonis III

“Both past and future are but illusions, mere phantoms birthed by the wanderer mind. They are echoes and whispers, devoid of the tangible solidity of the present moment. We become the masters of time, not by traversing its illusory breadth, but by plunging into the depth of the present moment.”
Kevin L. Michel, The Power of the Present: A Stoic's Guide to Unyielding Focus

Ramzi Najjar
“The now" is the biggest lie we live. It barely exists. The present is merely a fleeting point of intersection between "the past" and "the future." If you think about anything or act on something, you'll discover that it existed for just a split second before becoming part of the past. Focus on what is coming, or you'll always be ejected back into the past and miss the train.”
Ramzi Najjar
