Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Martha Begley Schade I recently published 6 books - all from one series. The very first one was triggered by two things. The first was a neighbour who insisted on feeding about 120 pigeons every day and for anyone who has ever watched Hitchcock, I need not describe how that was. On rainy days I did notice how the flapping was always far louder. The second was a son who was bullied in school. At that time I tried through storytelling to show him ways to overcome the effects of the bullying.
