This was such a sweet ending to one of my absolutely favourite series. I'm so sad that this series has ended. I loved this world so much - the characters, the places and the Christian references. Seeing Alex get his own happily ever after was so fulfilling and I think that Kezzie is absolutely perfect for him. Kezzie's curse was such a different take on the original Goose Girl and Wild Swans story. I love how she wasn't able to communicate except through animals and objects and I love how Alex understood her and didn't care that she couldn't talk directly to him, even before he knew of her curse. And, of course, the book wouldn't be complete without Daemyn and Rosanna, even if I do wish that they had gotten a bigger role. It was great seeing Daemyn about to become a father and seeing his child at the end of the book. Alex and Daemyn's friendship has definitely progressed from the first book to now, solidifying into a brotherly bond. Kezzie was a great new addition to the story and she was such a strong and relatable character. After having her curse for twenty three years and not even knowing what life would be like without her curse, it was inevitable that she would start to question the Highest King and lose her trust in Him. But He never gave up on her and she eventually learned to trust in Him again. I loved seeing both her physical and emotional growth and her spiritual growth. Trust in God is something everyone struggles with, especially when going through obstacles or if stuck in a bad situation for such a long time that it seems there is no way out of it. This book was such a great reminder that even if we are facing challenges or going through a dark time in our life, we can always trust Him to be there for us. He will never leave us nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:8). Overall, this was such a great book with amazing themes and light vanquishing the darkness. It is always bittersweet to read the last book of a series and know there won't be anymore; that we're leaving the world and the characters behind forever. But I don't think that I could ever forget this series and I will always keep coming back to this series, re-reading these books over and over.

Beautiful, allegorical, clean fairy tale retelling with HEA and a few twists!

This is not just a love story, and I’d highly recommend to go read the first books in the series. You will see the beauty in the story when it all began and fall in love with the characters. The characters who grew and matured and changed as they learned their curses and blessings have always been a part of a bigger plan.
This book has a deep, incredibly captivating allegory of peace and rest we can have only from and in God, and the love story you read is far beyond man and woman.

Plus it’s a fairy tale retelling but be prepared for the twists and turns and mysteries galore, all unraveled in the last book to bring the HEA to Alex, the character who truly deserved it by now (again, go start book 1! Seriously!). The wait is over, and oh I’m so happy.
Alex, the High King, blessed with intelligence and after his own curse is broken, is now facing another coup, another evil curse with the help with a princess and her 4 brothers, in the middles of their own curses. Their journey to free friends and restore his right to the throne is packed with adventure as well as blossoming love.

Of course, Love triumphs (it’s a HEA after all)! And Evil is defeated but also hearts mended, ties restored, friendships strengthened, and mostly we are encouraged to see God, the Highest King, is still good, ever present, and always in control.

I’ve been given an advanced copy to read but my review as well as opinion expressed are mine and given joyfully. If you crave Biblical truth, like allegories and retelling, and prefer a clean story, give this book a try.

A wonderful conclusion to the series!
I have had affection for Alex, even when he was the bratty prince back in book one. It's probably because I liked seeing how he grew and changed over the course of the books. This book is a culmination of his growth from uppity noble to capable king. It was fantastic to see how much he had changed and his true heart, one I knew was in there even at the beginning, come out in the pages, after he was changed by the High King.
The Goose Girl, Kezzia, was also really fun to read about and a great companion to Alex. Her curse was very unique, and it was interesting how the author developed her character. I liked how she was equally as smart as Alex, and showed both inner and outer strength. Then, her wrestling with the High King was so relatable, especially when you know her curse.
Daemyn was fantastic as usual! It was good to read some about him, even if he wasn't the main character.
As for the plot, it was fast-paced and kept me turning the pages. Also, the Native-American influenced fantasy setting is always so interesting. I mean, who has canoes, feathers, and antlers in their fantasy/fairy tale retellings? I haven't read such a unique world, and I loved immersing myself in it again. Finally, the faith element made this all the better, with a reminder that faith is trusting God even if you don't understand what He is doing.
I am super thrilled that Tricia finished the series and gave Alex the happy ending we all wanted!

Goose Princess mixes elements of the fairy tales the "Goose Girl" and the "Wild Swans" together into a unique new story. In a world where all royals are given a curse as infants, Keziah (Kezzie) is cursed to be unable to communicate directly with others and her brothers are cursed to turn into geese. Alexander is a king who has been lured into a trap and had his throne stolen by an imposter. When he encounters Kezzie and her brothers, they join forces to rescue Alex's friends and Kezzie's relatives, and to defeat the imposter. This is book four in the series and if you haven't read books one to three first you can still follow the story quite easily it does feel like you've missed a lot of backstory for most of the main characters and the setting and I suspect it would be far more enjoyable to read the series in order.

I received an ARC and leave an honest review.

What an enjoyable and long-awaited conclusion to the series! The author did not disappoint after the long wait between books. I could barely put it down!
The characters are relatable and fun. The plot was expertly crafted and kept me on my toes, anticipating the final resolution.
Best of all, the spiritual element comes out in a gentle, beautiful way. Loving people in their seeming oddities that can't be helped is a lovely image painted throughout the book, taking someone for who they are instead of focusing on what makes them different from "normal."
I received the book as an ARC and am anxious to get the physical copy to add to my shelves. I don't keep a physical book unless I plan to read it again. Soon I can read the whole series all over!

Excellent! The author did an awesome job of weaving two very different fairy tales together with a very different version of royalty in a very different world. This was romantically, sweetly and inspirationally original and I plan to re-read it often!

I received an ARC from the author and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
