Warning: Due to the sexual nature of this material it is recommended for mature readers only

In the second book of my series, Stoned, we meet Damian Stone, Tate’s charming younger cousin and sexual dominant, the quintessentially intense urban male. He is wealthy, powerful, successful and painfully gorgeous. Damian dominates over everyone and everything both in his work and in his pleasures. He can have any woman he wants, but the sexy, confident, and commanding Dominant is growing tired of the same old game.
Shortly after telling his best friend that he is done with the life of submissives, Sydney Cooper falls at his feet. She is a strong, young, interior designer despite her traumatic sexual past but Damian immediately senses her submissive tendencies. After meeting Sydney, Damian seduces her into a life of BDSM and finds himself falling in love for the first time. However, Sydney’s past is not all that stands in the way of their happiness. Damian’s past connects them in a way that may destroy them forever.

Kitty Berry grew up an only child who never wished for a sibling in a small town in Connecticut. After graduating with a degree in Early Childhood Special Education, she began teaching in the field and started to raise a family. Her literary influences happened later in life when she stumbled upon The Pilot’s Wife by Anita Shreve after seeing it featured on the Oprah Show. It was her late mother’s (whose name she uses as a pen name) desire of becoming a writer that prompted Kitty to create a contemporary romantic series.
Being a creative person by nature who came into writing during a time in her life when the busy balance of career and family made her crave an escape into the world of romance, Kitty took that desire and turned it into a romantic series that offers the reader multidimensional characters.
In 2013, she published her first novel from The Stone Series, Sliding. Since then she has written 10 other novels in that series, among them Stoned, Second Chances, Surrender, Starting Over, and Silence. The final installment, Survivor was released in 2016. A holiday edition was released in late 2018.
Since then, Berry has released a trilogy titled, The Anatomy of Love and written a carry-over stand-alone novel, Vines of Ivy. In 2019, she released the Compatible Companions Trilogy.
Because angst-ridden, plot-driven, women's contemporary romances mesmerize Kitty, Berry writes only in that genre. While each book in The Stone Series can stand alone with its own story, Berry’s intention was to create carry-over characters to satisfy the need of the reader to know more after each novel ends. As an avid reader herself, Kitty enjoys the feeling of being there with the characters inside the story and often finds herself wanting to know more about them, missing them when the story is over, and becoming excited all over again when she discovers those familiar characters in subsequent novels. It is her hope that The Stone Series will do the same for her readers.
Kitty is married to a man she met in graduate school and has three boys who are almost men.
Kitty recently founded RomantiConn (a romance author signing event annually held in CT) and is currently working on the Falls Village anthology hybrid with her fellow RomantiConn authors.

OMG!!! This book is hot, hot, hot. I am loving Alpha dominant Damian. This book is long, but is a very fast read. If you are looking for a sexy page turner this is the one for you. I am not sure if there was a page that went by that was not sex filled. Damian and Sydney's love affair has you laughing and crying throughout. The things that Sydney endured and the way Damian helps her overcome them are truly beautiful to read. Damian is probably in my top 5 all time favorite ALPHA males now.

This series needs to be talked up and read by many more people. I only hope that Kitty decides to carry this series on. She has many characters throughout books 1& 2 that I believe can sustain full length novels like this one. (Sven, Mac, Dominic, Alex to name a few).

OMG, I freaking loved this book!

I recommend 'Stoned' to any 50 shades of grey lovers. The hero in this isn't broody like Christian Grey but in my opinion, he's way better. Super sweet, protective, alpha, and he's into BDSM. Damian and Sydney are THE BEST couple ever.

This book was written perfectly and I loved how long it was. I never wanted it to end.

As I stated in my review of my first book in this series, Slidng, I am my own worst critic so I had to go with 4 not 5 stars! Because I created the characters they all have a very special place in my heart.

In the second novel of the series, Stoned we meet charming Damian Stone, the quintessentially intense urban male. He is wealthy, powerful, successful and painfully gorgeous; Damian dominates over everyone and everything both in his work and in his pleasures. Like his father and the rest of the men in his family Damian dominates all that he touches. His powerful name, “Stone” is used in all of his acquisitions and each building in the New York City landscape he owns is covered in stones, marking it his territory.

After four years of being a sexual submissive to his college professor Damian began the life of a sexual Dominant himself upon his return to New York City where each semester for the past seven years he trained a young college girl to submit to his every sexual desire at the sex club he owns for people who practice in the BDSM lifestyle.

Damian can have any woman he wants and for seven years that is what he has had. But the sexy, confident, and commanding Dominant is growing tired of the same old game. Shortly after telling his best friend, Alex Smith that he is done with the life of submissives, Sydney Cooper falls at his feet. She is a strong young interior designer despite her traumatic sexual past but Damian immediately senses her submissive tendencies. After meeting Sydney, Damian realizes that he only thought he had everything he wanted; now that he’s met Sydney he realizes that what he wants…what he needs is her.

Damian and Sydney’s attraction to each other is immediate and undeniable, beyond their control, but as much as they yearn to be together, Sydney questions if she can withstand the pressures of his sexual demands. Sexually submitting to Damian will mean that she has to face her darkest secrets about her past.

Damian and Sydney quickly fall into a sensual romance where their passion for each other obsesses them both. Damian’s controlling nature and Sydney’s natural submissive tendencies allow them to enter into a BDSM relationship with Sydney falling under Damian’s Dominant spell. But theirs is not the same relationship Damian is used to. Sydney submits beautifully to him sexually but for the first time in his life Damian wants more from the woman in his life, he wants a relationship and agrees to a boyfriend girlfriend relationship with the sexually inexperienced and sexually skittish Sydney. Damian quickly realizes that he is falling in love with Sydney and vows to do anything to protect her from her past.

All appears to be safe and sound but Sydney is not the only one struggling with a past. Damian is haunted by his past with his professor and he is growing increasingly more embarrassed by his sexual past with his submissives. His secrets threatened to destroy him and his relationship with Sydney forever.

Tate, Damian’s cousin and Brooklynn Taylor’s relationship continues to develop in this novel. We also learn about Drea’s (Damian's sister) secret love interest, the much older Mac who is now working as Damian’s head of security.

Again, once drawn into the main characters’ lives, I hope it will be an easy transition to read my third novel, which will continue to explore deeper, slightly darker relationships with newer characters taking the lead.

Stoned is only my second try at writing so please be kind with comments.

This novel sets the stage for Siblings, the next installment in the series about the want to be rock star brother that Damian and Drea never knew they had. Watch for the third book in this series coming soon…Siblings by Kitty Berry.

Stoned

Wow can I just say Wow! Another 5 star effort. This book put me through the emotional wringer. I laughed so hard I almost peed my pants and cried so much that I'm pretty sure I'm bordering on dehydration. I loved this story. It was compelling, gripping, I didn't want to put the book down. Reading this was like having a little bit of your soul stolen and put back changed just a little. Such a fascinating journey to witness, the changes in both Damien and Sydney, the obstacles they overcome and triumph through. The book definitely kept you on your toes, it was next to impossible to guess everything that was going to happen next. The characters, not jut Sydney and Damien were so incredibly well written it was easy to see them as real people. The strength that Sydney has is only something I can aspire to. The compassion that Damien shows was unforgettable. I loved the sexy dominance that is Damien, but that he wasn't so rigid that he couldn't be flexible when Sydney needed him to be. The struggle that Sydney has with her own issues then dealing with Damien's past that is constantly being shoved in her face was fascinating to read. This book was amazing just because of everything it made you FEEL, which in my opinion is always the measure of a great book, am I reading this and detached or am I reading this and involved. It was impossible not to be involved, to feel as if you were living inside Sydney's head. If you are looking for an inspired but emotional read with a healthy dose of fabulous sex don't look any further.

I really enjoyed book one in this series (Sliding) however I loved this one even more!!! I love a book that has an intense love story, a controlling alpha male and kinky sex and this story certainly delivered in all areas. Damian Stone is “Mr. Perfection” and definitely one to add to your book boyfriend list. If you loved 50 Shades, Bared to You, or This Man then you will love this book as well. This book has a few twists and will keep you on the edge of your seat. I can’t wait to start the next in the series. The characters (Tate and Brook) from the first book made appearances in this book as well and I sure am hoping that Damian appears again in the next series because I don’t want to let him go just yet!

This second book tells about Tate's cousin, Damian and his blooming relationship with Sydney. Damian and Syd explore the realm of BDSM in a tasteful way, it's nice to see it written from a point of love, not just sex and domination. The story blends in with the first book so seamlessly, continuing with Brook and Tate's story as well as the new one it's like watching a movie.

Book was given in exchange for an honest review

Loved, Loved, Loved this book! I’m also in love with Damian.. he’s my new book boyfriend! Not only were some of the scenes HOT but there was also a plot so it wasn’t only about them getting it on. What I really liked was there is so much going on in this book that it could have easily stretched to a 2 or 3 book series; however it wraps up all in one, which I prefer. Can’t wait to read Siblings!

Wow! Stoned absolutely blew me away. Damien Stone is wealthy, powerful, successful, gorgeous, and dominant. He is done with the life of submissives until Sydney Cooper falls at his feet. She is a strong, young, interior designer with a traumatic sexual past. Damian immediately senses her submissive tendencies. They are immediately drawn to each other and their relationship develops quickly. Their romance is off the charts. As their pasts intertwine will their relationship survive? There are many connecting subplots in this well-developed, captivating, exciting, beautiful story, and twists and turns you do not see coming. Some of the characters from Sliding appear in this fantastic story along with many fascinating new ones. I absolutely loved this story and am excited to see where this series goes next. It deserves a 10.

Wow this is a new author for me and I can’t believe I have missed this series. This is the second story in the series that can be read as a standalone with prior characters making appearances and even better than the first. When Sydney falls at Damian’s feet it’s a beginning of a heck of a journey for them both, he is a Dom having a few submissives every year and she has demons from her past that never allowed her to be close to any man so you can imagine how this is going to go. The book is long but every page is making the story that much better you will not be disappointed.

Five stars are not enough!!! I thought I loved Brooklyn and Tate but the love affair between Sydney and Damian leaves them in the dust. From the opening pages to the very last scene I was in awe. The complexity of the characters and the intertwining of the entire group made me not want to put this book down. I will be forever judging future characters based on the relationship of these two. So much happens in this book and I loved every single minute of it. This is a must read!!

Very well written! Story line was great! The story line reminded me of 50 shades meets crossfire. But so much better! I liked that it had the duel view point in the writing and the time line was easy to follow.

Again, this book had so much potential. What it didn't have however was a good editor. This book was WAY too long and at least half of the text was unnecessary and featured gratuitous sex (I can't believe I just said that!). So much sex that it really didn't have any meaning anymore. OK already, we get that he doesn't even have to try to get her wet and that he loves that about her! lol

I so enjoyed book 1 , the story linked with previous characters but was too repetitive with sex scenes so the story never go develop as book 1 did , some spelling errors too .
