Gillian Dance is the author of The Ultimate Religion, as well as various short stories, and is currently working on her second novel. Gillian studied English Literature and Linguistics and works from home as a copy editor and ghostwriter.

Gillian's hobbit-hole is in Devon, England, which she shares with her husband and various pets. As well as writing, she reads voraciously, loves philosophy, and frequently takes long country walks to watch wildlife.

As long as you're human you're having thoughts and opinions and conversations and experiences every day, so…moreI think writer's block is a bit of a myth! As long as you're human you're having thoughts and opinions and conversations and experiences every day, so the point is not having nothing to say, it's really knowing what you specifically want to focus on. What I do experience sometimes is that my thoughts are a bit quiet or in a muddle and not flowing through my pen as it were, when that's the case I tend to leave the laptop for a day and have a talk to a really good friend, or failing that, talk whatever's on my heart into a voice recorder, that really loosens up all the ideas and current feelings!(less)
