==Seemingly==
The article states "He killed countless Green Lanterns in his rampage through the universe to Oa, seemingly killed his arch enemy Sinestro, killed the Guardians and took the power of Oa's Central Power Battery for himself." Why is everything else written factually, but he SEEMINGLY killed Sinestro? If this is supposed to be encyclopedic and not an in universe fan page, then in that story he did kill sinestro and in the volume 4 section, it was retconned that he didn't.[[Special:Contributions/129.139.1.68|129.139.1.68]] ([[User talk:129.139.1.68|talk]]) 18:17, 25 August 2011 (UTC)

Merge?

I'm just curious - why do we need two Green Lantern articles, i.e., this one and Green Lantern? What void does this article fill that the main Green Lantern article was not covering? I realize that we have done this for other subjects, cf. Superman and Superman (comic book), Batman and Batman (comic book). However, I question whether it is necessary in this case. That said, I'm not looking to start any fights. :-) --GentlemanGhost (talk) 21:48, 14 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I would assume that it is the same reason we now have The Flash (comic book) and Flash (comics).
It really may be worthwhile to fold the actual comic book information, not the in story/plot summary stuff, that is needed into the base articles and see if they are large enough to justify splitting these off. - J Greb (talk) 22:46, 14 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
There is a more general discussion here. (Emperor (talk) 02:40, 19 September 2009 (UTC))[reply]

Seemingly

The article states "He killed countless Green Lanterns in his rampage through the universe to Oa, seemingly killed his arch enemy Sinestro, killed the Guardians and took the power of Oa's Central Power Battery for himself." Why is everything else written factually, but he SEEMINGLY killed Sinestro? If this is supposed to be encyclopedic and not an in universe fan page, then in that story he did kill sinestro and in the volume 4 section, it was retconned that he didn't.129.139.1.68 (talk) 18:17, 25 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
