Hillary Clinton dropped by The View this morning, where she couldn’t resist dragging her former presidential opponent Donald Trump while commending how Vice President Kamala Harris has handled her own campaign for the White House.

While speaking with the ladies, Clinton pointed to last week’s Sept. 10 debate between Trump and Harris as evidence that the VP is hitting him right where it hurts most.

“He’s definitely bait-able because he has a very fragile ego that has to be constantly buttressed, and people have to tell him how great he is and he has to tell himself how great he is, and he has to have people around him who are constantly giving him all of this emotional support,” Clinton said of Trump.

Her last remark got a laugh out of the table, who snickered at the thought of Trump needing “emotional support” 24/7.

Clinton went on to compare her own strategy combatting Trump to Harris’ technique, which Clinton said worked “so well.”

“I was baiting him about nuclear weapons [in 2016] — which I think is kind of important — she baited him about his crowd size,” she said with a grin. “And so we learned a lot about how to expose him.”

“He doesn’t care about nuclear weapons,” Clinton continued. “He doesn’t care about policy. But his crowd size… and so I think that she understood and did it so effectively, because it wasn’t just about scoring points against him in a debate. It was about exposing him.”

Turning to face former Trump White House employee Alyssa Farah Griffin, Clinton added, “Letting the American people see what those of you who have been around him and all of the people who worked for him now saying, ‘Please, don’t let him near the White House again.'”

The View airs weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
