The Perfect Couple

Powered by Reelgood

The Perfect Couple premiered on Netflix last week on September 5 to plenty of excitement. Adapted from Elin Hilderbrand’s 2018 novel of the same name, this mystery drama miniseries has something fresh, enthralling, and just the perfect amount of campy for new fans as well as those who read the original book.

The Perfect Couple picks up with Amelia Sacks (Eve Hewson) as she prepares to marry into the Winburys, who are one of the wealthiest families on Nantucket. But on the morning of the lavish ceremony, a body washes up on the beach, derailing the festivities and turning everyone into a suspect in a whodunnit that could have come straight from the mystery novels of Winbury matriarch, Greer (Nicole Kidman). Bolstered by all-star cast that includes Kidman, Hewson, Liev Schreiber, Meghann Fahy, Billy Howle, Jack Reynor, and Dakota Fanning, this Netflix Original title captivates and entertains viewers from beginning to end.

If you’ve binged all of The Perfect Couple and are hungry for more juicy family drama and social class commentary, here are seven other shows that fit the bill in one way or another.
