‘The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives’ Cast Guide: Who’s Who In The New Hulu Reality Show

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is Hulu‘s latest binge-worthy reality show — and it certainly makes up for the lack of dramatic content The Kardashians has been serving since getting rebooted on the streamer.

The eight-episode series centers around a handful of Utah-based Mormons who rose to fame creating content on TikTok. Taylor Frankie Paul, Mayci Neely, Whitney Leavitt and Mikayla Matthews were the OG members of what ultimately became known as #MomTok, which grew over time to include their other castmates.

All in their 20s or early 30s, the women are married (some divorced, some remarried) with at least two children each. But despite the strict rules of the church, there is still plenty of scandal to go around in this group, especially after Paul blew up #MomTok with her swinging scandal and her domestic violence arrest.

1. Taylor Frankie Paul

   The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives undoubtedly centers itself on Taylor Frankie Paul, the Mormon-raised mom of three who shocked the world when she revealed on TikTok that she and her now ex-husband were “soft-swinging” with their other Mormon friends. Now divorced, Paul, 29, has moved on with Dakota Mortensen, much to her family’s dismay. She gets pregnant and has a miscarriage early on in their relationship and shortly after a domestic violence incident finds Paul in handcuffs, she becomes pregnant again with Mortensen’s child. All the while, Paul is working to get back on her fellow #MomTok squad’s good graces after shaking their reputation with her swinging scandal.

2. Whitney Leavitt

   Whitney Leavitt, 30, is one of the four original members of #MomTok. She shares two children with her husband Conner and has 2 million followers on TikTok. After moving back to Utah from Hawaii, where she spent two months trying to evade rumors about her family, Leavitt has one goal: rebuild #MomTok. However, her budding issues with her fellow content creators leave her questioning whether she truly wants to be a part of this group.

3. Demi Engemann

   Demi Engemann isn’t afraid to stir the pot. The 29-year-old content creator doesn’t hold back her frustrations with Leavitt and makes her opinions about Jennifer Affleck’s husband loud and clear. Engemann — a strong advocate of Ketamine therapy — is divorced and remarried to Brett, 46, who was previously married to Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Angie Harrington. Together, they share a blended family with three children.

4. Mayci Neeley

   Originally from Orange County, CA, Mayci Neely, 27, is a married mom of two and founder of Baby Mama, a line of natal nutrition gummies. Out of everyone in #MomTok, it’s clear that Neely is the peacemaker. Not only is she the first one to meet up with Paul after the swinging scandal, but she also stands by Leavitt’s side amid her own drama with the other ladies.

5. Mikayla Matthews

   Mikayla Matthews, 24, was born and raised Mormon. She got pregnant out-of-wedlock with her current husband Chase when she was 16 and he was 21. A wedding and three kids later, Matthews is now well-known for her #MomTok content, having amassed 2.4 million followers on TikTok — where she posts videos with her husband and opens up about her undiagnosed skin condition.

6. Jennifer Affleck

   Jennifer Affleck, 24, certainly plays by the Mormon rules. She doesn’t drink, she wears her garments and she will never promote a sex toy on her social media platforms. As she financially supports her family with her #MomTok earnings, her husband Zac, who happens to be Ben Affleck’s second cousin, is working his way through medical school. But it quickly becomes clear that her unorthodox career will cause tension with her conservative beau.

7. Jessi Ngatikaura

   Like Engemann, Jessi Ngatikaura is on her second marriage. Aside from being a hairdresser, she also owns a hair salon, hair extension company and a hair school under her JZ Styles empire. At only 31 years old, Ngatikaura, who has more than 100,000 followers on TikTok, lovingly refers to herself as a “grandma of the group.” But this “grandma” isn’t afraid of a little plastic surgery, as fans will see in the show.

8. Layla Taylor

   Unlike most of the other ladies, Layla Taylor, 22, wasn’t raised Mormon. While attending a high school where most of her peers were part of the church, she took it upon herself to get baptized when she was 16. Three years later, she got married and went on to have two children — but now, she’s divorced, has never orgasmed, and is fully ready to get her groove back.
