Gordon Ramsay Spices Things Up With ‘Hot Ones’ Host Sean Evans In This ‘MasterChef’ Exclusive Clip

MasterChef will spice things up in this week’s episode as iconic Hot Ones host Sean Evans steps in to guest judge.

In an exclusive clip obtained by DECIDER, judge Gordon Ramsay surprises the contestants with Evans. “Here to help us judge tonight is a very special guest,” Ramsay begins. “He knows a thing or two about hot stuff. All of you please welcome the mastermind behind the mega-viral social media sensation Hot Ones, Sean Evans.”

Contestant Hallie, a 24-year-old professional cornhole player from Alabama, reveals that she’s a “huge fan” of Evans — who has risen to fame interviewing A-listers as they chow down on a series of increasingly spicy chicken wings.

“I’ve watched so many videos — especially his with Gordon. That one was just insane,” Hallie tells the camera. “This is mind-blowing. This couldn’t be any cooler.”

Ramsay, for his part, praises Evans for taking Hot Ones to “a whole new level,” noting that the episode he appeared on has been viewed by “over 125 million” people.

“It just doesn’t stop either. It’s still growing,” Evans adds.

The clip then cuts to a flashback to Ramsay’s Hot Ones stint, where he threw a hot wing across the room, gulped down milk, and declared that “this fucking program is not normal.”

But perhaps the most bizarre moment from Ramsay’s time on Hot Ones was when he busted out a mini fire extinguisher filled with milk and shot it into Evans’ mouth from across the table.

“The accuracy with which Gordon Ramsay hit me with that fire extinguisher from across the table — it was like a carnival game,” Evans told DECIDER in a June interview. “It was just a perfect bullseye from serious distance. So shout out to the PSI on that milk extinguisher and Gordon’s aim, which was impeccable.”
