The Pogues are finally back! Netflix revealed today that Outer Banks Season 4 will premiere in two parts starting this October.

In an action-packed first look, John B (Chase Stokes) teases yet another thrilling adventure after he and his friends — Sarah (Madelyn Cline), Kiara (Madison Bailey), Cleo (Carlacia Grant), JJ (Rudy Pankow) and Pope (Jonathan Daviss) — successfully found gold at El Dorado in the Season 3 finale.

“We finally did it. We finally found the gold. That’s where the story should’ve ended. But really, it was just the beginning,” he narrates, before telling JJ that they now have “everything to lose.”

At the end of the third season — which took place 18 months after they completed their hunt for gold — the Pogues were asked to find the treasure of Edward Teach, otherwise known as Blackbeard.

The brutal cliffhanger has had us eagerly awaiting Season 4 for more than a year — and now, we finally have some answers as to when it will come out. Keep reading for everything we know!

When will Outer Banks Season 4 premiere?

Outer Banks Season 4 will premiere in two parts; the first part will begin streaming on Thursday, Oct. 10 and the second part will drop on Thursday, Nov. 7.

What is Outer Banks Season 4 about?

Outer Banks Season 4 will begin before the Pogues were propositioned for another treasure hunt at the end of Season 3. After finding gold at El Dorado, the crew attempts to build a normal life by starting Poguelandia 2.0, where they run a bait, tackle and charter tour shop. When they face some financial setbacks, they decide to embark on their next adventure: finding Blackbeard’s treasure — but that, of course, comes with dangerous new enemies.

According to Netflix’s description of the new season, “their problems are only growing, and they’re forced to question their past, present, and future — who they really are, has it all been worth it, and how much are they willing to risk?”
