Live with Kelly and Mark is gearing up for a new season, but in the meantime, viewers have been met with some previously recorded installments.

While Monday’s episode (Aug. 26) featured a new interview with Ego Nwodim, fans were treated to the twin special this morning, which originally aired in May and featured a memorable appearance from Property Brothers Drew and Jonathan Scott.

Co-host Kelly Ripa, who was recently honored as a Disney Legend, was also absent for several episodes, during which Mark Consuelos was joined by a lineup of guest hosts, including Live‘s announcer Deja Vu, Jane Krakowski, Maria Menounos and Jenny Mollen.

As the longest-running daytime television talk show in history, Live has won over fans with its warmth and witty on-air banter, which was amplified once Consuelos joined his wife as co-host.

So, why is Live with Kelly and Mark not airing new episodes? When does Live with Kelly and Mark return for a new season? Here’s what we know.

As a production source previously informed DECIDER, the Live family is on their annual summer vacation. Previous episodes since the show began their summer hiatus have featured fresh new content, including new host chats and rounds of Live‘s signature game, Stump Mark.
