Bill Skarsgård is starring in a remake of Brandon Lee‘s cult classic film, a film that will also be called The Crow, which is coming to theaters this week. Luckily, we have you covered on all the ways you can watch this gothic flick!

Based on the comic book series of the same name The Crow centers around Eric (Skarsgård), a musician who was murdered late one night along with his fiancée Shelly (FKA Twigs). A year after Eric’s death, the tap of a crow on his grave resurrects him. His new mission is to avenge the murder of Shelly and him and go after the gang that caused their deaths. As a resurrected figure, Eric can no longer get injured, which is what makes him the superhero “The Crow.” Eric’s mission will not be easy, but he will do whatever it takes to get his revenge.

So, where can you watch The Crow? Is it on Netflix? What about Prime Video?

WHERE TO WATCH THE CROW

Currently, the only way to watch The Crow is to head out to a movie theater when it releases on Friday, August 23. You can find a local showing on Fandango. Otherwise, you will just have to wait until it becomes available to rent or purchase on digital platforms like Vudu, Apple, YouTube and Amazon.

WHEN WILL THE CROW BE ON STREAMING?

While a digital release date has not yet been announced, we can make an estimate on when The Crow will become available to rent or purchase based on a previous movie distributed by Lionsgate. Unsung Hero joined digital on May 28, about four weeks after its theatrical debut. If The Crow follows the same trajectory, you may be able to watch from the comfort of your home by late September 2024.

Plus, it’s possible that The Crow will eventually come to Peacock due to a deal that gives the streamer access to all Lionsgate theatrical releases during its Pay 2 window beginning in 2024. There’s a good chance it lands on Starz, too, since Lionsgate owns that pay TV channel.

WILL THE CROW BE ON HBO MAX?

No, The Crow will not be on Max, previously known as HBO Max, since it’s not a Warner Bros. Discovery movie.

WILL THE CROW BE ON NETFLIX?

No, The Crow will not be on Netflix, at least not any time soon. While it’s possible that the film may come to the streamer at some point in the future, you will just have to head out to a movie theater or wait for it to become available on digital platforms in the meantime.
