The 2024 Democratic National Convention kicks off today in Chicago, and runs through Thursday, Aug. 22. President Joe Biden, who was originally slated to helm the Democratic ticket, will be issuing his support for Vice President Kamala Harris, who is running for president alongside vice-presidential candidate and Minnesota governor Tim Walz.

Biden dropped out of the 2024 presidential election on July 21, backing Harris as his replacement in an announcement on X.

Since then, Harris has embarked on the campaign trail, scoring a cameo on the Season 9 finale of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars to urge people to get out and vote.

What time is Joe Biden speaking at the 2024 DNC?

Sources informed ABC News that Biden and Hillary Clinton are slated to speak on Monday night. However, they noted that this schedule is subject to change. A specific time was not disclosed, nor is there information available just yet on the convention’s website. However, as noted by USA Today, his speech may take place during the “main programming” part of Monday’s slate of events, which is being held from 5:30-10 p.m. CT.

Meanwhile said sources teased that former president Barack Obama would be speaking on Tuesday (Aug. 20), followed by Bill Clinton and Walz on Wednesday (Aug. 21), and Harris delivering her speech on Thursday (Aug. 22).
