After weeks of backlash, Gina Kirschenheiter has responded to that eyebrow-raising confessional look she wore in The Real Housewives of Orange County.

The reality star took to TikTok Sunday night (Aug. 18) to agree with critics that it wasn’t her best fashion moment.

“Just wanted to hop on here and let you all know, I get it,” she said. “I hear you. I see what you see, honestly. I understand you don’t like this interview look and when I saw the episode prior to it airing, I said, ‘That doesn’t look great.'”

However, Kirschenheiter admitted that she “actually really love[s]” the outfit, noting that it “looks pretty great on” her.

“But I’m not gonna defend myself because I see what you see and the bottom line is you can’t land every plane,” she said. “So I can just promise you, I get it and I will hopefully do better next time. Can’t even really promise that.”

Kirschenheiter debuted the controversial look — a metallic silver cocktail dress with chunky gold necklaces and a teased hairdo — on a Season 18 episode of RHOC earlier this month.

Fans were quick to tear apart the outfit, with one posting, “I’ve never seen someone so committed to never slaying,” and another adding, “Genuinely thought this was Amy Poehler doing an SNL skit.” Paper Magazine even rated the ensemble among Bravo’s worst outfits.

This isn’t the only time Kirschenheiter has drawn attention to a confessional look this season.

In Episode 5, Tamra Judge showed up to Kirschenheiter’s dinner party wearing the same black mini dress and sparkly bralette the real estate agent had been wearing in her confessionals.

“I mean, this is fucking bullshit. This bitch is wearing my dress and she has bigger boobs than me. It’s fucking bullshit,” Kirschenheiter joked in the episode, before adding, “I still think I wore it better.”

The Real Housewives of Orange County airs every Thursday at 9/8c on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
