The world of Inside Out is getting a tad bigger come next year.

An animated series titled Dream Productions is coming to Disney+ in 2025, Pete Docter of Pixar announced during D23‘s Disney Entertainment Showcase.

The series will take place in the period between Inside Out and Inside Out 2, and it will be “set in the studio where Riley’s dreams are made every night on time and on budget,” said Docter on Friday evening according to Deadline.

As part of the presentation, Pixar unveiled some footage of the series to the audience, featuring Joy giving a tour of the studio and taking viewers through the process of how a dream is made.

The vibe at the studio is chaotic as the emotions are working tirelessly in an attempt to make Riley’s “next hit dream.”

The Inside Out franchise has been quite popular since its inception, grossing more than two billion dollars at the box-office. Inside Out 2, which just debuted in June, has thus far grossed $1.56 billion at the global box-office, making it 2024’s biggest box-office hit to date.

The new TV series based on a Pixar film is not the first of its kind, as Monsters at Work (based on Monsters, Inc.) had a successful debut on Disney+. Season 2 of that series premiered earlier this year on the streamer.

Inside Out & Inside Out 2 starred Amy Poehler (as Joy), Kensington Tallman (as Riley Andersen), Lewis Black (as Anger), Phyllis Smith (as Sadness), and Tony Hale (as Fear). All of the voice actors and more are expected to return for Dream Productions, which is slated to premiere in 2025.
