The ladies of The View are a enjoying a well deserved break from the popular daytime talk show.

For the next four weeks, the seats around Hot Topics table will remain empty as the hosts relax away from the stage lights, boom mics, and cameras.

With a planned return in September, the next four weeks may leave a hole in some fans’ hearts — but ABC won’t let you stay sad for long. In place of the live show, the network will play daily reruns until the hosts are once again sitting in their seats.

Why Isn’t The View On Today?

The View is currently on summer vacation, taking a four-week scheduled hiatus. ABC will be playing reruns in place of the live show during its normal time slot, so you can still get your daily dose of your favorite talkshow hosts! The rerun schedule for their next week off air is below, so read on!

When Will The View Be Back With New Episodes?

The View is scheduled to return live once again in September. According to a schedule provided by ABC, the last day of show reruns is Sept. 2, meaning that the *unofficial* expected premiere for Season 28 is Sept. 3.
