The View is moving on and moving up. The ladies announced on this morning’s episode that they will be marking the end of Season 27 by shifting to a fresh studio for Season 28.

Sunny Hostin broke the exciting news on this morning’s episode when she told viewers, “We are thrilled to be moving to a brand new studio downtown. Brand new, state of the art, and we will see you there in September for Season 28 of The View!”

Later in the segment, Alyssa Farah Griffin also couldn’t help but rave about the new space, saying, “Our new building is so cool. Like, state of the art everything, the studio is fancy.”

She then admitted with a laugh, “It’s what I expected it to be like when I came here and it wasn’t.”

After Hostin echoed, “You’re gonna love it,” Ana Navarro tried to give a shout-out to everyone who made the exciting upgrade possible. Unfortunately, her words of gratitude were cut short.

“You know what, we need to, there’s so many people who have worked so hard to make this seamless for us—” she began, but before she could continue, Behar interjected to exclaim, “Alright, save the Emmys speech.”

The crowd was shocked, but so was Navarro, who looked right into the camera with an exaggerated expression of surprise before turning to her co-host and saying, “You really are—” but she was cut off again by Behar, who inexplicably shifted into a chat about Navarro’s “birthday gift” to her … which arrived months before her October birthday.

“It’s not your birthday. Your birthday is Oct. 5!” Hostin exclaimed after Behar bragged that her co-hosts would be “so jealous” of the present from Navarro. Behar insisted, “For now, it’s my birthday. She doesn’t have to give me anything for my birthday since she gave me this wonderful gift.”

After all the fuss, Navarro revealed what the gift had been: A framed copy of The New York Times announcing Donald Trump‘s guilty verdict. We can’t think of a better present for Behar — and thankfully, she confirmed it’s coming with her to the new studio.

The View airs weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
