Just days after accepting the first Emmy nomination of his career, Fargo actor Lamorne Morris will be guest hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live this week, where he’ll have the chance to discuss a very different kind of nomination.

“You know what’s weird? I now have accepted more nominations this year than Joe Biden,” Morris told the Kimmel audience. “Yes, it’s weird.”

“Yesterday, President Biden decided to drop out of the race,” he explained, before adding, “Well, he didn’t drop out so much as he kind of wandered off.”

Morris then began to wander off-camera as the audience howled with laughter, seemingly mimicking how President Biden walks.

Despite the joke, Morris maintained that he still loves “Joey B.” He also gave a shoutout to Vice President Kamala Harris, who announced her campaign after Biden endorsed her to become the next Democratic presidential nominee.

Morris pointed out that former president Donald Trump appeared to be “very worried” to run against Harris, who worked as a prosecutor and served as the Attorney General of California from 2010 to 2017 before becoming a senator.

“Now here’s the thing though, Trump is very worried because Kamala is a lawyer,” Morris explained. “He’s only lost to Joe Biden once, but he loses to lawyers like twice a week.”

Morris is the latest celeb to guest host Live amid Jimmy Kimmel’s summer hiatus. Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, RuPaul, Jeff Goldblum and more are still set to host this summer, leading up to Kimmel’s imminent return to the El Capitan Entertainment Centre in Hollywood.

In fact, Reynolds and Jackman will be guest hosting Wednesday (July 24) ahead of the Deadpool & Wolverine theater premiere.

Kimmel is expected to return to the show on Labor Day (Sept. 2).

Jimmy Kimmel Live airs weeknights at 11:35 ET/PT.
