The Republican National Convention had many memorable moments this week — including the fake ear bandages — but one politician managed to show up even Donald Trump with his appearance: congressman Matt Gaetz.

Gaetz took the RNC stage this week, where he debuted his “fresh new look,” sparking rumors that he may have gotten some work done. And Jimmy Kimmel Live guest host Anthony Anderson couldn’t let the moment go without cracking a joke or two about the politician.

“Woah, I mean he looks like he’s trying to be an NBA player’s third wife,” he joked.

He then added that Gaetz may have to worry about more than just the NBA now. “If he’s not too careful, Trump’s gonna move on him like a bitch,” Anderson continued, referring to the remarks Trump made about women that surfaced during his 2016 campaign. He then mimed the motion of grabbing someone’s behind.

Anderson then took shots at the allegations surrounding Gaetz, who has been accused of having sexual relations with a minor.

“But look, it’s okay, Matt. There’s nothing wrong with trying to look as young as the girls you date,” Anderson said, before adding, “Allegedly! Allegedly! I don’t want to get sued on my last day here.”

Just yesterday, Anderson made fun of Republicans for wearing bandages on their ears “out of solidarity and stupidity” for Trump, who sustained an injury on his ear after someone attempted to assassinate him July 13.

“A lot of people wore bandages over their ears out of solidarity and stupidity,” Anderson said. “These are the same folks who wouldn’t put a cloth over their face because of Covid because they thought it looked ridiculous.”

Thursday marks the last night Anderson will be guest hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live. It’s unclear who will be the next celebrity to fill in for Kimmel as he lates a summer hiatus from the show, but Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman,  Jeff GoldblumRuPaul, and Lamorne Morris are all set to host at some point this summer.

Kimmel is expected to return to the show on Labor Day (Sept. 2).

Jimmy Kimmel Live airs weeknights at 11:35 ET/PT.
