A missing molar may not have been on Savannah Guthrie‘s Christmas list, but that’s what she got after The Today Show‘s Christmas party.

She and fellow TODAY co-anchor Hoda Kotb were hosted by Andy Cohen on Tuesday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, where Guthrie was prompted to shed light on the lore behind how she lost a tooth, per Entertainment Tonight.

“That was the Christmas party, which when you’re at the Today show Christmas party, it starts at, like, 3 p.m,” she shared. “A lot of day drinking.”

She and Kotb recalled the last ones standing as Guthrie, Sheinelle Jones, Dylan Dreyer, Jenna Bush Hager, and Laura Jarrett.

“Anyway, we all left. The next thing I know, the morning I wake up, I’m like, ‘I feel like something’s missing,'” she remembered. “It was like a molar. I was like, ‘Where is it?’ And they were like, ‘Maybe it’s at the Pebble Bar.’ It was gone.”

Due to the this taking place around the holidays, she admitted that she “let it go for weeks,” while Kotb insisted that it was “longer than weeks.”

“I was like, ‘Go to the dentist!'” Kotb added.

Guthrie argued that “you couldn’t see it” because it was a molar.

During last night’s episode, Cohen also revealed that TODAY‘s own Carson Dalyrefuses” to stop by the clubhouse for a WWHL appearance — although a cardboard cutout of Daly did assume the role of bartender for the night.

“We’ve asked so many times. I’ve talked to him about it. He’s just like — he’s scared,” Cohen elaborated. “He thinks I’m gonna dredge up all the mess. But I don’t think there’s any mess to dredge.”

Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
