Dildos, Drama, And Chains: Julia Fox Promises “Nothing Is Off Limits” In Her Naughty New E! Series ‘OMG Fashun’

Julia Fox has made a name for herself as a fashion icon since delivering a breakthrough performance in Uncut Gems. Now, the actress and model is launching a fashion competition series on E! with the help of celebrity stylist Law Roach.

OMG Fashun is a half-hour competition series that will push designers to defy style conventions and redefine “cool” with their own eccentric designs.

As the show’s description notes, contestants will use “materials and techniques that would make fashion’s so-called gatekeepers squirm” to create “unconventional ensembles.” Each week, their designs will be judged by Fox, Roach, and a rotating panel of expert judges to weigh in on who will get the coveted award: a $10,000 cash prize.

Fox will also model their designs.

By the looks of the teaser trailer E! released for the show, OMG Fashun is shaping up to be a chaotic Project Runway.

“Hey bitches,” Fox says at the top of trailer. It then flashes through an eclectic montage displaying sex toys, candles, dolls, and more.

“Nothing is off limits,” she later announces. At one point, a designer’s ensemble is compared to a labia, causing Fox to unapologetically comment, “We’re pro-p**sy over here.”

The trailer also gives an exciting first look at some of the designs viewers should expect to see during the first season.

In a press release, Fox praised the show for reshaping how we think about fashion.

“OMG Fashun is shaping the future of fashion, emphasizing sustainability, upcycling, and creative craftsmanship to restore integrity to this art form,” said Fox. “Being the most stylish person in the room doesn’t require breaking the bank; all it takes is creativity and a dash of confidence. My biggest hope is that our viewers will get inspired by what we create on the show and recreate the looks at home using all their old junk they have lying around!” 

Rachel Smith, Executive Vice President of Unscripted Content, Lifestyle and Documentaries, at NBCUniversal Entertainment, praised Fox for being “a tour de force in the industry.”

“This show celebrates fashion’s newest disruptors as they push the boundaries for their ultimate muse, Julia, and we’re excited to share their original and unique perspectives with our audience,” Smith said in a statement.

The first two episodes of OMG Fashun will premiere on E! Monday, May 6 at 9pm ET.
