At 82 years old, Martha Stewart might be cooking up a new romance. On this morning’s episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, the television personality candidly opened up to Drew Barrymore about her vibrant love life.

The conversation started when Barrymore, who is anti-nap after dating a guy who napped “all the time,” asked Stewart if she would ever get together with someone who likes a little extra shut-eye.

“I don’t know — if he did other things,” Stewart said. “If he were the most fabulous, handsome man in the whole world that I was madly in love with and he wanted to take a nap every now and then, that’s fine with me.”

The cookbook author then asked Barrymore for an update on her dating life. For those who are just tuning in, the actress hasn’t had a serious relationship in seven years.

“My dating life is such a hot mess … I asked myself, ‘Why can’t I meet someone who knocks me off my socks and I think is hot?'” Barrymore said, to which Stewart revealed, “I got knocked out of my socks last week by somebody. [He was] very attractive.”

According to Stewart, it “wasn’t exactly appropriate, but it was good for a night.” The star’s cheeky confession sent the studio audience into cheers, prompting her to clarify what exactly went down — or didn’t — between her and the mystery man.

“Nothing happened,” she said. “We didn’t go home together or anything but it was just a little flirtation. That’s nice.”

Meanwhile, Barrymore appeared to be struggling a bit more in the dating realm. When Stewart pointed out that she “used to meet a lot of guys” and asked where she goes out at night, Barrymore replied, “Home.”

The chef continued to grill the talk show host on whether her friends sit her “next to eligible men” at dinners and parties.

“No, I’m not living that life, Martha,” Barrymore admitted, to which Stewart told her, “You should start. You have a lot of friends. They should be inviting you. They didn’t do that for me either, by the way. I had to do it myself.”
