Things are heating up! Squid Game: The Challenge started with 456 players, but only three are advancing to the finale. Which contestant will win the large cash prize? Will the three play fair or need to sabotage one another to get ahead? And most importantly, when will the winner be revealed?

Airing over three weeks, the Netflix reality show first premiered November 22, 2023 with five episodes, followed by the next four and then the finale.

All eyes are on the series in anticipation of the final episode, which will see the remaining contestants compete for $4.56 million — said to be the largest cash prize in reality and game show history.

Episode 9 saw the nine remaining contestants playing “Circle of Trust” until six of them were eliminated, leaving only three players in the competition.

Upon its release, Squid Game: The Challenge received mixed reception from viewers, with many stating that the nature of the show is exploitative and difficult to watch. The streaming platform confirmed the time on December 1, 2023 with an exciting teaser for the new episode. Netflix shared on social media, “From 456 to three. Who will take home the $4.56 million?”
