Selling The OC Season 2 famously ended with a declaration of love between close friends and colleagues Tyler Stanaland and Alex Hall. Their long-awaited first kiss — in a hot tub, no less — was equal parts steamy and romantic. And their joint attendance at The Oppenheim Group’s LA office opening in Selling Sunset Season 7 gave fans hope that their romantic relationship was still going strong.

After the spinoff’s dramatic Season 3 trailer aired during Selling Sunset‘s reunion on November 15, however, it’s clear that Hall and Stanaland aren’t just separated, they also have a TON of bad blood between them. Now the question is: WHY?!

Reunion host Tan France welcomed Hall, Polly Brindle, Gio Helou, and Brandi Marshall to the stage to watch the premiere of Selling The OC‘s Season 3 trailer, which shows Hall telling Stanaland (aka Brittany Snow’s ex husband), “You swooned me and then you fucking disappeared. What do you want?” The surfer is later seen telling Hall that they aren’t on the same page, and then she tells the cameras, “I’m out. I’m done.”

After the trailer aired, France turned to Jason Oppenheim to ask about Stanaland’s recent departure from The Oppenheim Group and return to his father’s firm. “He left, yes that’s true,” Jason confirmed. “I don’t like speaking for other people. I just think it was a lot for him.”

Then Hall weighed in on the topic, sharing that she didn’t know Stanaland was leaving “until he pretty much left.” GASP!

When France asked if the two were still in touch she revealed, “I’m actually blocked on Instagram. Um, I’m excommunicated.” WHAT?! TYLER. Dude. We were rooting for you! What the heck happened?!

The news was so shocking that Selling Sunset‘s Mary Fitzgerald turned around in her seat and said she’d like to know what happened, prompting Hall to reply, “I would like to know, too.”

Hall explained that whatever Stanaland’s reasoning was for blocking her wasn’t valid, then Marshall chimed in to say she’d texted with Stanaland since he left the office, which caused a surprised Hall to admit she didn’t know the two had a relationship. Hall also confirmed that she and Marshall have no relationship at the moment, so there’s clearly drama there as well!

In the wise words of Tan France, “Clearly, we better tune in to Season 3 to figure out what that’s all about.” As of right now, there’s no confirmed premiere date for Selling The OC Season 3, but stay tuned for more details on that and Selling Sunset Season 8.
