Over the course of the Apple TV+ drama’s latest 10 episodes, viewers were blessed to behold Jon Hamm in his juiciest dramatic role since Mad Men, Nicole Beharie outshining her movie star castmates with a standout performance, a stomach-churning scene that felt ripped from Succession, a Meghan Markle dress sighting, a hot Hamptons sex scene, more terrifying 2020 flashbacks, and Billy Crudup stealing scenes left and right.

The Morning Show‘s Season 3 finale delivered one of the most unexpected endings in 2023 TV, so fans of the spicy series are likely left wondering if and when The Morning Show Season 4 is coming. The Morning Show Season 4 Premiere Date:

Like so many other forthcoming television series and movies, The Morning Show‘s Season 4 premiere date ultimately depends on the resolution of the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike. As of November 8, 2023 (aka Season 3 finale day), The Morning Show Season 4 has no set premiere day, but past premiere dates can give us some insight into when Season 4 might arrive. The Morning Show Season 1 debuted in November 2019, Season 2 premiered in September 2021, and Season 3 dropped in September 2023. It’s clear Apple TV+ values The Morning Show as part of its fall slate, so it’s likely we won’t see the series return until Fall 2024 the earliest. But since there’s been a two-year gap between seasons, there’s also a chance we could see Season 4 in Fall 2025. Here’s hoping Alex Lexy (Jennifer Aniston) and Bradley Jackson (Reese Witherspoon) return to us ASAP, and we’ll be sure to update this article with any new information.

The Morning Show Season 3 Ending Explained:

If you’re looking for a detailed episode recap of The Morning Show‘s Season 3 finale Decider has you covered. But the main takeaway from Season 3, Episode 10, “The Overview Effect,” is that Bradley turned herself in to the FBI for her role in covering up her brother Hal’s (Joe Tippett) involvement in the January 6 insurrection. And Alex destroyed her billionaire ex Paul Marks’ UBA deal, and with help from NBN anchor Laura Peterson (Julianna Margulies). Instead of being bought and sold for parts by Marks, UBA and NBN will now merge, which brings us to potential Season 4 storylines…

What Will The Morning Show Season 4 Be About?

Wondering if Reese Witherspoon is returning for The Morning Show Season 4 after Bradley’s unexpected Season 3 resolution? As Decider’s Meghan O’Keefe wrote in her Ending Explained article, “Maybe Bradley will get off early for good behavior in time for Season 4 or maybe there will be a big time jump. Perhaps we’ll get a whole storyline about Bradley’s time in the slammer or maybe, just maybe, Witherspoon is out, y’all!”

As for future Morning Show Season 4 storylines, there’s an opportunity to focus on UBA and NBN’s merger, and see what the future holds in store for Alex, Chris (Nicole Beharie), Cory (Billy Crudup), Chip (Mark Duplass), Mia (Karen Pittman), Stella (Greta Lee), Yanko (Nestor), and Laura.

“I think mergers are always messy, whether they’re personal or corporate. So, it’s always fun to play with that. Whether that story is the story is a question we’re wrestling with right now. There are all sorts of things to talk about,” showrunner Charlotte Stoudt told Deadline in an interview. “We’re also trying to reflect the world…how many streamers can there be? People getting laid off, that sort of stuff. So we also just want to reflect what’s actually happening in the media world. Some people are doing very well, some people are doing less well. It’s like the Wild West.”

If NBN moves front and center, perhaps we’ll also see more of Elena (Elizabeth Perkins) and June Diane Raphael and Mindy Kaling’s characters. Oh, and we’ll learn if this is really the end of Jon Hamm’s run on the Apple TV+ drama. Like I said, we need more Morning Show ASAP.
