New Movies & Shows To Stream This Weekend: The Gold, Love At First Sight, A Million Miles Away + More
A new thrilling crime series, The Gold, premieres on Paramount+ this week, about one of the biggest and definitely the most accidental robbery of all time. The first two episodes of the six-part mini-series premiere Sunday. On Netflix, you can check out the delightful new romance Love At First Sight, which stars The White Lotus‘s Haley Lu Richardson (may she be luckier here than she was in Sicily). And on Prime Video, check out A Million Miles Away, the new film about a NASA astronaut who beat the odds to achieve his dream of going to space.
New on Paramount+ with Showtime September 15: The Gold
The new Paramount+ series The Gold is the story of one of the biggest armed heists in British history, the robbery of the Brink’s-Mat warehouse. After thieves stole more than $26 million worth of gold and jewels in 1993, a years-long investigation ensued. The impressive cast of the mini-series is led by Hugh Bonneville, Dominic Cooper, and Jack Lowden.
New on Netflix September 15: Love At First Sight
Love At First Sight, the Netflix new romantic comedy, stars Haley Lu Richardson and Ben Hardy as a pair of travelers who meet, fall in love, and then lose track of each other, all in the course of a flight from New York to London. Based on the young adult novel The Statistical Odds of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith, the film so-stars Rob Delaney, Sally Phillips, and features Jameela Jamil as the narrator.
New on Prime Video September 15: A Million Miles Away
Michael Peña stars in the new Prime Video original film A Million Miles Away, based on the true story of Jose Hernandez, a Mexican-American astronaut whose humble beginnings as a farm worker who eventually earns an engineering degree, lands a job at NASA, and becomes an astronaut. The movie, one of inspiring perseverance, a man who faces racism and a lifetime of being underestimated, is the perfect family film for the weekend.
