The Season 2 finale of Swagger just dropped on Apple TV+ today, leaving fans wanting more of the high-stakes high school basketball drama that was first released in October 2021.

Taking place in the D.M.V. (D.C., Maryland, Virginia) suburb of Seat Pleasant, Maryland, the series is loosely based on executive producer and Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant‘s own experiences reaching NBA stardom, but follows basketball prodigy Jace Carson (Isaiah Hill).

Jace joins a basketball team coached by Ike Edwards (O’Shea Jackson Jr.), a former rising basketball star just like him. When Ike merges his team with another basketball program to form all-star team Swagger DMV, Jace pushes to reclaim his ranking as the #1 high school basketball player from the D.M.V.

The African American Film Critics Association (AAFCA)-honored series also deals with plenty of themes outside of the court, including racism, cyberbullying, COVID-19, child abuse and sexual assault.

So, will there be a Season 3 of Swagger? Where can you watch the first two seasons of the series? Read on to find out.

Will there be a Season 3 of Swagger?

The series hasn’t been renewed yet for a third season, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a possibility. Positive feedback from fans may support Apple TV+ announcing the show’s renewal, and an announcement would likely take place in the near future, as the Season 2 finale was just released.

If there were to be a Swagger Season 3, ScreenRant noted that it may resemble the timeline of Season 2’s release, which dropped about a year after it was approved by Apple TV+.

Where can I watch the first two seasons of Swagger?

The first two seasons of Swagger are both streaming on Apple TV+. Season 1 is 10 episodes long and Season 2 is eight episodes long, with each episode ranging from 45 minutes to a little over an hour.
