The road to SummerSlam is heating up as WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns confronts Jey Uso on tonight’s episode of SmackDown.

The SummerSlam 2023 card should begin to take shape after tonight’s SmackDown. Only two matches are official — Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor — but a number of high profile bouts seem like a forgone conclusion: Roman vs. Jey, Shayna Baszler Vs. Ronda Rousey, Gunther vs. Drew McIntyre, Trish Stratus vs. Becky Lynch, Asuka/Bianca Belair/Charlotte Flair, and Logan Paul vs. Ricochet.
