The Lincoln Lawyer finally made its return to Netflix on July 6 with Season 2, Part 1. The popular legal drama — created by David E. Kelley and based on Michael Connelly’s bestselling novels — follows LA’s most charming defense attorney Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo). This new season revs up the suspense even further with more high-profile murder cases and also highlights an unexpectedly complex romantic storyline.

With the Trevor Elliott murder trial in the rearview of his iconic Lincoln, Haller tries to wrap a previous case that’s been weighing on him, as he simultaneously scrambles to clear a new client’s name before it’s too late. Unfortunately for us, Season 2 is split into two parts, with the last five episodes dropping on August 3 — and after watching a cliffhanger like this one, you won’t be able to wait.

While you’re hanging on by the edge of your driver’s seat after bingeing part one, here are seven shows similar to The Lincoln Lawyer to test-drive before the second half is released.
