BTS fans, we have some good news for you.

Crunchyroll, a streaming service primarily focused on East Asian media, including anime, acquired the streaming rights to Bastions, a new 5-part Korean animated series. BTS composed the theme song for this new show, which is said to be a fusion of animation and K-pop.

That’s right — a new BTS song is coming, even though the group is on hiatus through 2025 due to South Korea’s compulsory military laws.

The even better news?

You’ll be able to hear it tomorrow, when the first part of Bastions debuts on Crunchyroll.

The five-part series, which utilizes a 3D animation style, follows a group of superheroes in a world where they must compete for popularity as they achieve worldwide notoriety for unmasking a villain who posed an environmental threat.

The series also features music from K-pop girl band Le Sserafilm and singers Heize and AleXa.

Bastions premieres tomorrow, May 13. The first of five parts will be available to watch, with a new part debuting every Saturday until June 10.

How To Watch Bastions On Crunchyroll:

As noted above, Bastions will be available to stream exclusively on Crunchyroll worldwide, excluding mainland China, Japan, North Korea, South Korea, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan.

To watch, you’ll need to be a Crunchyroll subscriber.

The service, which says to boast “the world’s largest anime collection,” has three different subscription plans. Since access to the entire Crunchyroll library ad-free is included with every plan, you can pick which one is right for you and your streaming habits. Each plan also includes digital manga and new anime episodes just one hour after they air in Japan.

At $8/month, the “Fan” plan allows for ad-free streaming on one device at a time. For $10/month, you can add three more simultaneous device streams and the ability to stream offline in addition to discounts on Crunchyroll products.

At $15/month, the most expensive “Ultimate Fan” plan includes six simultaneous streams and more significant discounts, including free shipping within Crunchyroll’s online store.

All three plans come with a 14-day free trial before payment kicks in.
