Evan Rachel Wood Shocks Jimmy Fallon with Her Madonna Impression: “How Do You Do Everything?”

When Evan Rachel Wood stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Thursday, she brought her best Madonna, Alanis Morissette and Janis Joplin with her. The Westworld actress delighted host Jimmy Fallon with some uncanny singing impressions, proving she’s a force to be reckoned with at karaoke night.

Wood launched into her song medley after telling Fallon all about her upcoming role as Madonna in Weird, the Weird Al Yankovich film starring Daniel Radcliffe. Wood, who said she was hesitant at first to take on the role because of the “responsibility” that comes with playing Madonna, told Fallon she ultimately accepted because Weird is a comedy, relieving some of the pressure.

While Wood does not sing as Madonna in Weird, she said she belted out one of her songs during a Weird wrap party. “The director goes, ‘Why didn’t I make you sing in this movie?'” she told Fallon, confirming, “I can sing like Madonna. I have to be able to sing like a lot of different people.”

And she went on to prove it to Fallon, who magically pulled a microphone out from behind his desk and presented it to her. With little convincing, Wood was up and out of her chair, performing “Material Girl” for The Tonight Show audience.

“How? How do you do everything?” Fallon asked, praising her performance as “fantastic” and literally bowing before Wood. Once he regained his composure, Fallon requested “more musical impressions” from his guest, who was happy to oblige by belting out some Alanis Morissette.

After wrapping up a passionate rendition of “You Oughta Know,” Wood closed out her mini concert with Janis Joplin’s “Piece of My Heart,” managing to stun Fallon speechless once again.

The Tonight Show airs weeknights at 11:35/10:35c on NBC. Watch Wood show off her singing chops in the video above.
