Jen Shah’s Legal Drama Takes Center Stage in ‘Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’ Season 2 Trailer

Bravo’s resident ice queens are back for round two. A new trailer for Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is here, giving viewers their first glimpse at potential cults, a new Housewife, and of course, Jen Shah’s highly publicized arrest.

This time, returning cast members Lisa Barlow, Mary Cosby, Heather Gay, Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose, and Je are joined by newcomer Jennie Nguyen, who Jen describes as a “little firecracker.” The trailer shows Jennie cursing out Jen and hits back at her husband for suggesting they get a sister wife to have more children, so it looks like she won’t have to worry about fitting into the Housewives universe.

Meanwhile, Meredith takes on Jen for liking a tweet encouraging her to slap her son Brooks, while Whitney investigates her hunch that Mary is a secret cult leader.

I’m like a God, I worship the God in me,” Mary tells Lisa, who later meets with a mystery man who seemingly confirms the Housewives’ cult suspicions.

“Is it a cult? Yes. Does she call herself a God? Yes,” he says.

But the bulk of the drama rests on Jen’s legal scandal. She and her assistant Stuart Smith were arrested in March for their alleged involvement in a national telemarketing fraud scheme. In the trailer, Jen sobs at the prospect of going to jail and being separated from her family for eight years.

“Do you know how f–king scared I am?” she tells her husband, before later asking her attorney, “Do I need to add Kim Kardashian to our legal team?”

When Whitney drops the bombshell that Meredith may have had something to do with Jen’s arrest, she explodes and declares she’s “fraudulent.”

“Who’s calling me a fraud?” Meredith insists. “Love you, baby.”
