Tonight, August 1, marks the premiere of “Gotron Jerrysis Rickvangelion.” Out of all the log lines this season, this one is the most mysterious, reading, “Check these ferrets broh. Gotta keep it in the family though.” We have no idea what that means. But we do know that Rick, Morty, Summer, Beth, and Jerry find a Voltron in this one, so that’s pretty neat.

Where Can I Watch Rick and Morty Season 5 Online for Free?
Today’s your lucky day. There are currently only three episodes of Season 5 available online for free. Episode 1, “Mort Dinner Rick Andre” is on both Adult Swim and YouTube. Episode 2, “Mortyplicity”, and Episode 3, “A Rickconvenient Mort”, are both available to stream for free on Adult Swim’s site. But for the rest of this season you need access to Adult Swim.
That means right now is a good time to have cable. If you have it, simply turn your TV to Cartoon Network around 11 p.m. ET, and you’re golden. You can even watch if you’re going to be away from your TV. As long as you have a cable username and password you can watch Rick and Morty live from anywhere. That applies to unlocking Episodes 4 through 6, by the way.
You’re also in a good place if you have a live TV skinny bundle. YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, and Sling TV all come with Cartoon Network, which means they have Adult Swim. Some of these services even give you the ability to catch up on past episodes.
What if none of these options apply to you? Then thank Adult Swim. At the moment the first three episodes of this season are available to stream on AdultSwim.com for free. The rest are under cable lockdown. There’s always a chance that “Gotron Jerrysis Rickvangelion” will appear during Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty 24/7 live stream, but that’s a bit of a long shot.

Yes, but not the season you want. The first four seasons of Rick and Morty are on all versions of Hulu. As for Season 5, these new episodes are only available through Hulu’s live TV skinny bundle package, Hulu + Live TV. So if you have that version of Hulu, great. You can start watching Season 5 with no problems. If not, you’ll have to wait until this season comes to streaming, which will likely take several months.
Is Rick and Morty on HBO Max?
Different streaming service, same rules. Season 5 won’t be available to come to Hulu or HBO Max until after it has finished its season and gone through a SVOD blackout period. Bottom line? It’s going to take several months.
