What to Expect from Oprah With Meghan and Harry: A CBS Primetime Special

There is certainly no doubt that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will discuss some intimate details about their life and the royal family on the special, which Oprah teases in the above first look trailer. “There is no subject that’s off limits,” says the host.

The trailer pans over to the Duke and Duchess as they discuss their decision to step down as senior members of the royal family, while confronting rumors about everything from incessant criticism of Markle by the press, the duo’s marriage, pregnancy, and more.

Meghan and Prince Harry are also expected to address rumors about their current relationship with the Queen (as well as Prince William and Kate Middleton), which has appeared to be salty at times. Harry mentioned to James Corden last week, however, that Queen Elizabeth II has partaken in video chats with him and Markle’s son, Archie, inferring that there are no hard feelings.

Oprah has made it clear that she intends to question the royal couple about their handling of the intense pressure of being in the public eye, as well as how Markle’s biracial upbringing has been covered in the press and affected her relationships with the British public. She will also likely ask the couple about their new life in Montecito, California.
