It wouldn’t be Big Sky without some twists, and apparently that extends to the show’s release schedule. We know that there will be a total of 16 episodes in Big Sky‘s first season. But we don’t know if the rest of this season will premiere on a weekly basis or if there will be another series gap. Adding to this unpredictability is COVID-19. The coronavirus has caused production delays for several shows. Though filming this season should have concluded, it’s possible that the series may be delayed further.

You know it. Last episode expanded on the big twist in this new batch of episodes: Rick Legarski’s (John Carroll Lynch) amnesia. After being shot in the head, Rick woke up in a hospital unable to remember anything about his current life. Yes, that included the fact that he was the head of a sex trafficking ring and that he kidnapped three women.

But Legarski wasn’t the villainous star of “I Fall to Pieces.” That honor belonged to Ronald Pergman (Brian Geraghty). Ever since Legarski was shot Ronald has been panicking. It was only a matter of time before police realized that Legarski had an accomplice. In a warped attempt to protect himself, Pergman has spent the last couple of episodes flirting and cozying up to his partner’s wife, Merrilee (Brooke Smith).

But it seems as though Ronald’s time has come. At the end of “I Fall to Pieces” Ronald convinced Merrilee to let him come over to her house. The excuse he gave her was that he wanted to comfort her. In reality all he cared about was Legarski’s safe room and anything that could tie him to this string of crimes. That’s the position the law-abiding Jenny (Katheryn Winnick) and Cassie (Kylie Bunbury) found their prime suspect. The killer is in the house. Now it’s just a matter of getting him to leave in handcuffs.
