There’s no shortage of exciting new shows premiering on Netflix in 2021, but one of the most hotly-anticipated titles of the new year is the return of Cobra Kai. Debuting in May of 2018 on YouTube before moving to Netflix in August of 2020, this critically-acclaimed Karate Kid revival quickly earned a passionate fanbase as the series instantly became one of the most popular shows on Netflix.

You’ve watched Season 1; you devoured Season 2; and now you’re about to get an extended look at the new season because Netflix just dropped the Cobra Kai Season 3 trailer!

The new footage gives us a lot to process. First, the new trailer verifies the return of Chozen (Yuji Okumoto) and Kumiko (Tamlyn Tomita) from Karate Kid 2. We were already 99.9% certain about Chozen showing up in the new season, but the arrival of Daniel’s ex-girlfriend was never officially confirmed. The action-packed Season 3 trailer also reveals that Johnny is aiding Miguel (Xolo Maridueña) in his recovery, school bully Kyler (Joe Seo) has joined Cobra Kai, Robby (Tanner Buchanan) is in some sort of juvenile detention center, Daniel’s wife Amanda (Courtney Henggeler) gets in on the karate action by slapping Sensei Kreese, and lifelong rivals Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence… team up?

“The only way to end this by working together.”

Ohhh, baby. You can watch the Cobra Kai Season 3 trailer above or below.

Cobra Kai Season 3 premieres Friday, January 8, 2021 on Netflix.
