The Fresh Prince is back!
Thirty years ago (September 10, 1990 to be exact), a fish out of water sitcom about a cool West Philadelphia teenager moving to a posh Bel Air mansion to live with his aunt and uncle premiered on NBC. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air would go on to produce 148 episodes over six seasons as the series introduced a whole new audience to the theatrical charms of Will Smith. The actor would go on to star in a bevy of blockbusters as the small-screen standout evolved into a bona fide movie star.
Earlier this morning, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Reunion debuted on HBO Max. A must-stream for fans of the original sitcom, the 75-minute special reunites the original cast as they celebrate the show’s thirtieth anniversary.

IF I HAVE HBO IS HBO MAX FREE?
If you’re already an HBO subscriber, you may have access to HBO Max. According to the HBO website, if you subscribe to HBO through Amazon Appstore, Apple, Google Play, Samsung TV, WarnerMedia, Consolidated Communications, Liberty, North State, Optimum, Service Electric Cablevision, Verizon Fios, or Ziply Fiber, you have access to HBO Max at no additional cost.
All you need to do is download the HBO Max app, sign in with your existing HBO email and password, choose “Access all of HBO Max,” and stream away. Current HBO subscribers can visit the HBO website to find out if they have access to HBO Max.

HOW TO GET HBO MAX ON ROKU:
While the HBO Max app still (still!) isn’t available on Roku devices, there is a workaround that may allow you to stream HBO Max content on your TV.
As Decider’s Claire Spellberg reports (via Variety), Roku’s new OS 9.4 update supports Apple’s AirPlay 2 and HomeKit. What exactly does that mean? Great question. Users with certain Roku models will now have the ability to cast the HBO Max app from their Apple devices to TV sets. “It’s not a legitimate HBO Max-Roku app, but hey, it’s something,” Spellberg writes.
