New Apple One Bundles Will Link Apple Music, TV and More

After weeks of rumors, it’s official: Apple has rolled out its new Apple One bundles today. The plans, which allow subscribers to group multiple digital services together for a lower price, were confirmed by Apple this morning after Bloomberg first reported on their release last month.

The bundles come in three options: Individual, Family and Premier, and all services bundle Apple Music, Apple TV, Apple Arcade and iCloud. The first level, Individual, costs $14.95 per month for access to the four services: Apple Music, Apple TV, Arcade and 50 GB of iCloud storage each month.

Typically, Apple Music costs $9.99 per month, Apple TV is $4.99 per month, and Arcade is $4.99 per month, while iCloud storage costs $0.99 monthly for 50 GB. Ordinarily, the four services would cost over $20 per month, so the Individual bundle brings down the cost by $6.

The Family tier, which costs $19.95 per month, combines the same services as the Individual, but adds more iCloud storage, upping it to 200 GB (which normally costs $2.99 per month), saving subscribers $8 per month. The final tier, Premier, keeps the four services — plus 2TB of iCloud storage — and adds two services: Apple News Plus and Apple’s new fitness service, Fitness Plus, for $29.95 per month, which amounts to over $25 in savings each month. The new Fitness subscription, which costs $9.99 per month on its own, includes training for multiple types of exercises, including yoga, cycling, running, core, and strength training, according to The Verge.

Customers will be charged once per month for all of the apps in their bundle, and Apple One subscribers will get a 30-day free trial for apps they don’t already have. Users can switch or cancel plans any time. Apple hasn’t announced an official launch date for its new Apple One bundles, but they’re expected to be released sometime this fall along with the new iPhone.
