Much like her predecessor Aang, Korra will have to band together with her friends to once again save the world. Here’s how you can watch this epic saga about another legend.

Is The Legend of Korra on Streaming? How to Watch The Legend of Korra Full Series for Free

UPDATE: Your prayers have been answered. The Legend of Korra is officially coming to Netflix Friday, August 14. Until then streaming this masterpiece is a bit complicated.

Yes, The Legend of Korra, the follow up series to Avatar, is available on a streaming platform. At the moment only the first two seasons of The Legend of Korra are available to stream on CBS All Access. However, the whole series is only available to stream through the Amazon Prime channel Nick Hits.

If you already have a subscription to CBS’ streaming service, you’re golden. But chances are that’s not the case. Exploring the wonders of this streaming service it will cost you $5.99 a month for a plan with commercials and $9.99 for the commercial-free option. That subscription will also give you access to most of CBS’ shows as well as CBS All Access’ originals like Star Trek: Discovery and Star Trek: Picard. So if you plan out your binge-watching well you can get through a ton of quality television for less than $6. But what about after The Legend of Korra comes to Netflix? What does that mean for CBS’ streaming service of choice? The seasons that are currently on CBS All Access will remain on CBS All Access even when the full series comes to Netflix on August 14.

What if you want to watch the whole series for under $10? Then Nick Hits may be your best option. The streaming channel is an extension of Amazon Prime Video that lets users watch their favorite classic Nicktoons. To subscribe you will have to have an Amazon Prime subscription. Nick Hits then costs $7.99 a month on top of your Prime account. Nick Hits also offers a seven day free trial, so it’s possible that if you plan out your free trials and devote yourself to binge-watching, you can watch all four seasons of The Legend of Korra for free.

Other than those options, The Legend of Korra is also available for digital purchase on Amazon, iTunes, Vudu, Google Play, and YouTube. But consider yourself warned. Seasons typically cost around $26 each to own.

Is The Legend of Korra Coming to Netflix?

It sure is. The spin-off Avatar series is coming to Netflix on August 14.

Is The Legend of Korra Coming to Hulu?

Sadly there’s been no news on that front either. With Netflix’s recent acquisition of Avatar: The Last Airbender and its upcoming live-action adaptation of the beloved cartoon, it seems much more likely that the series would be going to Netflix instead of Hulu.

Who Does Aang Marry in The Legend of Korra?

If you’re re-watching Avatar on Netflix there’s probably a big reason why you’re interested in diving back into Korra. Aang doesn’t appear much in The Legend of Korra as he died at the age of 66, a few years before the beginning of this series (his spirit pops up). But his wife and three kids play a pretty important role in the followup series. Aang ultimately married his longtime best friend and partner in adventuring, Katara. Knowing that makes their early, cautious flirting in the first episodes of Avatar even cuter.
