How to Watch The Darlington Toyota 500 Nascar Race

Sports are making their slow return to society after a months-long hiatus, and Nascar is stepping up to lead the way. Following Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series The Real Heroes 400 at Darlington Raceway, we have another race to look forward to this week: The Darlington Toyota 500.

This week’s race airs live without spectators from the Darlington Raceway in South Carolina, where the competitors will race on a 1.366-mile oval that requires 229 laps to complete. “With 3 degrees on the frontstretch and 2 degrees on the backstretch, this track has unique characteristics that require drivers to race against the wall,” the event’s description on the Nascar website states. “As a result, drivers will earn their ‘Darlington Stripes’ from grazing the wall through the infamous turns.”

The starting lineup for the race will use the finishing order from the Real Heroes 400 from last Sunday (May 17), but will invert the lineup for the Top 20, while the bottom 20 finishers will start from their finishing positions. Ryan Preece will start the race in Spot 1 in the No. 37 JTG Daugherty Racing Chevrolet, with Ty Dillon in Spot 2 in the No. 13 Germain Racing Chevrolet, according to the Nascar lineup.
