Woohoo, it’s Friday! Time to leave the office, go out with your friends and party your butt off. No? Well, we get it. It is hard to get excited about things right now, but we are not going to give up on trying. One thing that we can do, however, is get you pumped about the brand-new list of top-notch movies that you can use to get your emotions going and adrenaline pumping, if not just for a little while. And whether you use Amazon Video, iTunes, Vudu or your cable’s on demand service, there are a ton of movies available to rent and buy this weekend that are sure to do exactly that!
This past week definitely had its highs and lows, but the films that came out which you can now peruse supply the same amount of emotion but in a good way! First up is the female-centric buddy comedy film, Like A Boss. Starring funny women Tiffany Haddish, Rose Byrne and Salma Hayek, this hilarious movie centers on two best friends and business partners who have to duke it out against a Devil Wears Prada-esque cosmetics tycoon for control of their company. Just wait until you see the supernova that is these women in action together on screen! And if you are in the mood to scream, then look no further than the new supernatural horror film, Gretel & Hansel. But the real winning section this weekend is the rental section because starting this past week, a whole litany of amazing films became available to rent on demand, including Little Women, Cats, Birds of Prey, Dolittle and many more!

Meemory, all alone in the moonlight… get ready to be distracted this weekend, folks because Cats is finally available for rent on demand! This infamous, mind-bending movie based on the iconic Andrew Lloyd Webber musical stars Hollywood A-listers like Dame Judi Dench, Idris Alba, James Corden, Taylor Swift and more. We would try to explain the plot to you, but….well….just go watch it yourself and sing along to the classics while you enter the twilight zone that is this film.
