Every Late Night Show Returning This Week: See the Full Schedule

The late night renaissance is upon us. This week, late night television hosts Stephen Colbert, Andy Cohen, Samantha Bee, and more will return with new episodes after taking two weeks off due to concerns about the novel coronavirus. While these shows won’t exactly look normal — almost all of them will be taped at home, with no audience or in-person guests — they will still be a welcome addition to viewers’ schedules and DVR queues. At this point, all new content is good content.

Over the past few weeks, late night hosts have experimented with YouTube monologues — or “minilogues,” as Jimmy Kimmel has been calling them — self-made segments, and video-chatting guests. As these segments have become more and more fine-tuned and show staffers get comfortable working from home, the networks have begun airing hybrid episodes of new, at-home bits and previously-aired material. That trend will continue this week, as The Late Show with Stephen ColbertWatch What Happens Live with Andy CohenConan, and more shows air episodes entirely produced at home.

While the return of late night TV may not be as flashy as normal, hosts are attempting to engage viewers with A-list guests, all of whom suddenly have a lot of free time on their hands. Seth Meyers will be airing an exclusive interview with Sen. Bernie Sanders on Monday night, followed by Sen. Elizabeth Warren on Tuesday. Tonight, The Late Late Show host James Corden is hosting a primetime Homefest special featuring performances from BTS, Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, and more (his regularly-scheduled show has yet to announce a return date). Plus, Desus & Mero will return to Showtime two nights a week. Tune in Monday for guest Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
