When Will ‘Love Is Blind’ Season 2 Debut on Netflix?

The final episode of Love Is Blind is out on Netflix and the romantic rollercoaster ride has come to a halt! No spoilers for the finale and which couples actually tied the knot; let’s just say that the season finale was filled with as many twists and turns as the entire series. But whether or not you’ve made it through to the end of Season 1, you definitely have one question on your mind: what’s up with Season 2?! We need to see more singles go on blind dates and then deal with the fallout of getting engaged to someone sight unseen!

So, what’s the deal with Love Is Blind Season 2? Here’s everything we know so far…

Will there be a Love Is Blind Season 2?

We don’t know yet because Netflix hasn’t made an announcement about the show’s future, but it’s a pretty safe bet that there’s more coming. The show was (and is) a huge hit for the streaming service, becoming the first #1 TV show on the site’s new internal ratings system. The show was an even bigger hit than The Circle, the new Netflix reality show that dominated pop culture in January. That’s why it seems hard to imagine Netflix not going through with Season 2.

When will Love Is Blind Season 2 come out on Netflix?

If Netflix gives the go ahead for Love Is Blind Season 2, then hopefully we won’t have to wait forever to actually see it. Seriously! Did you know that Season 1 was filmed in October and November 2018?! For comparison, The Circle Season 1 filmed in October 2019, a year after Love Is Blind Season 1—and it still came out first. An estimated 492 days passed between when Love Is Blind most likely began filming and when it debuted on Netflix. That means that if Netflix ordered Season 2 today and they started production on it tomorrow, it wouldn’t debut on Netflix until July 4, 2021. That’s ridiculous (although you gotta admit, Love Is Blind Season 2 would bring the fireworks).

The thing is, though, we don’t know why production on Season 1 took 16 months. It’s entirely possible that post-production on Love Is Blind Season 1 wrapped way, way, way earlier but Netflix wanted to hold it for Valentine’s Day—and it wasn’t ready for Valentine’s Day 2019. But now that Netflix knows that Love Is Blind will most likely be a hit whenever it drops, maybe it can turn out Season 2 and get it ready to roll earlier than next summer, like maybe Valentine’s Day 2021?

Decider will update this article as soon as Netflix releases more information on Love Is Blind Season 2.
