For millennial Pokémon fans, 1998 anime film Pokémon: The First Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back is inextricably tied to their childhood memories. Ash Ketchum, Misty, Brock, Pikachu, and the gang feel like old friends at this point, no matter what the critics said at the time. Sure, a computer-generated 3D animation version of the film is fine, but nothing beats the original film and all the nostalgia that comes with it.
